Roger Whitcomb

Biography

I joined Ingres in February 2008 after 24 years with CA (during which time I worked on OpenROAD for about 2 years amongst many other projects). I'm currently tasked with updating the Ingres Visual Tools.

I have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Colorado State University.

I'm happily married and have two children (who are pretty grown up now).

I play saxophone, flute and clarinet and like to do photography and build decks -- like on our new house ;)

I've been a Christian for about 28 years, which is how I've survived this long in Silicon Valley :)

Please watch these pages as new design documents are posted and feedback is added. I want to build a vibrant community around these Tools because I can't (and shouldn't) build this stuff in isolation :)
