Becoming an Ingres Translator

Ingres is expanding rapidly in areas where English is not the primary language. To make it easier to use our products we need white papers, help texts, messages and documentation translated into different languages. If your native language is not English, or if you are fluent in a non-English language, we would greatly appreciate your contributions in the area of translation.

All translations are welcome! We need people like you to help to build an active Ingres Contributor Community!

The first step, is joining our community.

Once, you've joined the community, you can choose white papers, help text, product messages or documentation for translation. Simply add a Translation Project, specify yourself as the leader of the project and one of our Ingres Product Managers will follow up with you about getting started and ensuring the project proceeds smoothly!
