Been working with Ingres since 1994 and I've worked with most of the Ingres product set since then. I've been mostly working with Enterprise Access (aka Gateways) since 2000.

I'm a Python (http://www.python.org/) nut would recommend checking out either the Ingres Python DBI Driver Python_DBI or our JDBC driver JDBC_Driver used by Jython http://www.jython.org/
