where is report writer documentation ?

I need to edit an existing report created with sreport on Ingres 2.6 on Windows platform.
I have retrieved the source code using "copyrep" but need help with the commands available.
The "report writer user guide" is referred to many times in documents available on http://docs.ingres.com but I cannot find this user guide or any document setting out the report writer commands and their syntax/requirements/restrictions.

RBF refuses to edit reports created with sreport from text based source code.
In particular I need to set page orientation and font options for HP printers (PCL)

The report writer statements is under a guide called "Using Character-Based
Querying and Reporting Tools".
