Default issue with .FF on windows reports

All,

we have identified a problem which I believe is to do with Ingres report Complier
we use RW report writer files to generate reports

It seems the report complier on windows expects the .FF command in the RW file be explicitly coded for to enable printing of form feed charterers on page break on reports .

Our RW files usually do NOT have the .FF command explicitly mentioned in the code
I guess the default is for it to be turned ON ?

The same reports does produce form feed on other UNIX platforms ( even when there is no .FF command in the code )

do we know if this is an issue or it is just simply my understanding which is not correct

Thanks
Krishna

That doesn't sound right. Does it work if you explicitly specify a .pagelength?

I don't know of any reason why the Windows version of rw would
do pagination differently, so this sounds like a bug to me.
