The standard method for installing either a 32-bit or 64-bit Ingres ODBC Driver Package is to download the appropriate Ingres distribution and perform an Ingres Client Install. There are a few gotchas when performing a 32-bit ODBC Driver install on 64-bit Windows as the 32-bit ODBC Administrator is located in a non-obvious location. An exciting new agenda topic was added to the 2011 UK IUA this year allowing attendees to suggest and vote on features to add to the Ingres family of products. The Ingres family of products include but not limited to Ingres, OpenROAD, and VectorWise. This new informal gathering was very well received with so many suggestions that we ran out of time to discuss.
